Warning: My mother, aged 82, had her handbag stolen while she was in West Kirby library last Friday afternoon.
A word of “thanks” to the heartless thief who not only stole her money, but used her bank cards to obtain even more of her limited resources, and stole her glasses, which will cost her over £200 to replace, and her precious bus pass.
We had to have the house locks changed plus all the other personal things an older citizen carries about with them.
I do hope this thoughtless, uncaring person can sleep at night because I can assure him my mother can’t.
I do wish to thank though the staff at West Kirby library, Shrimps hairdressers, Lloyds TSB, and the attending police officers for the help and support they gave to my mother.
Mrs Barbara Curtis, West Kirby.
