Is it any surprise that we hold traffic wardens in such low esteem?
While crossing Woodchurch Lane one day last week, I witnessed a warden completing his notes having issued a ticket.
Then I noticed that the offending vehicle had a visible notice displayed in the windscreen stating: “This vehicle is on official hospital business. Will be moved shortly.”
Well done, Mr Warden, never let sickness get in the way of a good fine. Don’t these jobsworths ever have any common sense? One day even they might depend on medical help.
