Wirral man treated for smoke inhalation following fire
A 28-YEAR-OLD man from Birkenhead was treated for smoke inhalation after a chip pan caught fire in his flat yesterday.
Fire crews from Birkenhead and Wallasey were called to the address in Park Road South just after 4.30pm.
The hob and cooker hood were severely damaged by fire and the remainder of the second floor flat was damaged by smoke.
