A WHITE van stopped in Birkenhead on Monday evening contained a massive "one stop shop" of illegal drugs, it was revealed today.
The van was carrying 35 kilos of heroin, 138 kilos of high grade cannabis, 2.5 kilos of cocaine, 29 kilos of cannabis resin, and 5 kilos of herbal cannabis.
The discovery follows a separate operation by the Serious and Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) in Neston on Friday, in which over £4m in heroin, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamine and cash were seized from a warehouse and a Greasby home.
It's believed the Neston warehouse was effectively a wholesalers for drug dealers across the UK.
Two men from the Wirral area were arrested during Monday evening's Birkenhead van raid and were due to appear before magistrates today.
On Monday, seven people appeared in court in relation to the Neston incident.
