FUNDING is on offer to help Wirral children with disabilities access more short breaks away from their primary carers.
Aiming High for Disabled Children is offering grants to help groups and organisations start or improve programmes and schemes that increase the number and range of activities available to young people with disabilities.
Capital grants of between £2,500 to £25,000 are available for work on buildings, transport, facilities and equipment.
And voluntary funding of up to £5,000 is available to cover other costs of developing the service – such as training, facility hire and staffing.
Application forms for the first round of capital grants need to be submitted by November 18th.
The deadline for the first round of voluntary funding applications is November 30.
