POLICE are urging members of the public to exercise caution following the loss of a quantity of prescription drugs in Birkenhead Market today.
Around 40 tablets, including Diazepam, Subutex, Zopiclone and Matrazophine were lost in the market at around 12 noon.
Merseyside Police is reminding members of the public of the dangers of taking medicine that is prescribed for someone else.
Anyone who finds the drugs is asked to hand them in to their nearest police station or contact Merseyside Police on 0151 709 6010.
