TWO people are being treated for shock following a collision on the M53 this afternoon.
A man and woman, both in their 20s, were taken to Arrowe Park Hospital following the incident, which involved a silver Ford Fiesta and took place just after 1pm.
A police spokeswoman told the Globe that the vehicle was travelling between junctions three and four when, for some reason, it hit the central reservation and came to rest on the carriageway.
An investigation is underway to establish how the collision happened.
