Things are certainly moving fast for Wirral-based ceramicist Janet Holmes.
With three hugely successful solo exhibitions under her belt, she told the Globe that she has received equally positive support for her work from both the media and public.
Her arrival on the North West arts scene continues apace with an invitation to exhibit her work at the Editions Limited Gallery in Cook Street, Liverpool.
Her work appears in the three dimensional content of the new exhibition by Japanese artist Nana Shiomi entitled 'One Hundred Views of Mitate' which is on display until June 13.
Gallery owner Olwyn McLaughlin said: "Janet's sensual tactile ceramics is a perfect compliment to Nana’s work; I’m excited at being one of the first Liverpool galleries to offer Janet’s unique creations a home."
Janet said: "Ten months ago I wandered through Liverpool superb arts spaces and dreamed of being accepted there.
The owners and public alike have given me such a warm reception. I feel that this is the beginning of a brilliant creative journey.”
