A HORSE required the help of firefighters on Monday (July 27) to free it from a bog near Neston
Two fire engines, from Powey Lane and Knutsford, and the animal rescue unit from Bollington were called to the scene in Mill Lane, Willaston, at about 8.45am today, Monday, July 27.
The horse, named Jigsaw, had become stuck in the bog and was unable to move.
Firefighters dug the horse out of the bog, before handing it safely back to the care of its owner, and a vet, at the scene.
