Parkgate Boat House opens after million-pound refurbishment

ONE of the most popular pubs in Wirral is welcoming customers again following a major refurbishment.

After months of closure for a million-pound refit, bosses at The Boathouse pub in Parkgate which overlooks the River Dee and North Wales, reopened on Monday (June 22).

Posting on its Facebook page, the pub is now welcoming bookings and guests ahead of what may prove to be a long, hot summer.

“We are officially open,” said a spokesman.

“It’s been a good few months since we last saw you, but from today you can now book a table to see us at the new look Boat House.

“We don’t want to reveal too much as we’d love to see you in person so you can see it with your own eyes, but here are a few snaps of our refurb, which includes a brand-new roof terrace

“A massive thank you to everyone who has worked on the pub to get it looking as great as it does

“Pop in for a pint soon.”
