A MAN was punched and kicked in the head during an attack in Liscard earlier this month.
Merseyside Police said that at around 11.40pm on Friday, September 13, a 19-year-old man returned home after drinking at The Towers Pub in Liscard.
Shortly after, at 0.05am the following morning (Saturday, September 14), three men who are believed to have followed him from the pub arrived at his home and attacked the victim, repeatedly punching and kicking him leaving him with cuts to the head.
Following the incident, a 19-year-old man from Liscard was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. He has been bailed as the investigation continues.
Detectives have issued CCTV images of two men who it is believed may have information that could help enquiries as part of an ongoing investigation.
Detective Constable Andy Laverick said: "The victim in this case required significant treatment in hospital for the injuries he sustained during this attack.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the men pictured as we believe they could hold information that will help our understanding of what took place.
