A WIRRAL drug dealer has been jailed after advertising the ‘Tony line’ to sell heroin and crack cocaine.

Antony Doyle, 36 years, of Pasture Road in Moreton, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court for being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and was jailed for 45 months today, Tuesday, September 17.

On August 12 officers carried out a search at his home and found a mobile phone which identified the ‘Tony line’ advertising the Class A drugs.

Officers arrested and detained him.

Detective Inspector Peter Sloan said: “Organised crime is hugely damaging to our communities, often involving intimidation, violence and creating fear and it is these criminals who run County Lines, and this sentencing prevents Doyle from and harming communities by selling drugs on the streets.

“Criminals involved in organised crime have no thought for anyone other than themselves, and their criminal intent and greed.

“I would ask anyone who has any information about who is supplying or selling drugs in their area to contact us so we can take action.”
