A 10-month-old girl from Wirral who had reportedly gone missing with her father has been found 'safe and well', police have confirmed.
Layla Rose Wheeler was last seen in the Wallasey Village area and believed to have been with her father Clifford Wheeler and has been reunited with family.
A Merseyside Police statement this evening read: "Both Layla and Clifford have been found safe and well. Thank you for sharing this appeal."
Police had issued an urgent appeal on Thursday morning for information about Layla amid concerns for her welfare.
