A MAN suspected of having drugs was arrested after he was allegedly seen “acting suspiciously” in New Brighton.
At around 10.10pm last night (Monday, August 26) Merseyside Police were called to a report of a man acting suspiciously on Victoria Road in New Brighton.
Officers attended and detained a 42-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug Class A (cocaine) and Class B (cannabis) and using threatening/abusive/insulting words or behaviour.
He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
