A Wirral post office has re-opened under new management this week at the same location.
It is situated in the former McColl’s shop on Trafalgar Road in Wallasey, which closed in January last year and became a SPAR store. Its owner successfully applied to re-open the Post Office. It reopened on Tuesday (August 20)
The new opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 8am – 11pm.
This provides 105 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.
Karl Haddon, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: "We are delighted to have restored Post Office services to the Trafalgar Road area of Wallasey as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
"I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service."
