OXTON Village market will be open, for a second time, this weekend.
Upto 30 local producers will showcase their products at the RAFA Club on Shrewsbury Road in Oxton on Sunday (August 25) between 9am-1pm.
Among the range of items on sale will be fresh fruit and veg, award-winning sausages, homemade Indian food, authentic Lebanese foods, chocolates, wines and arts and crafts.
The market, open on the last Sunday of every month, was launched on July 28 and described by its organisers as a 'roaring success'.

Craft fair
PENINSULA Arts and Crafts Association has two craft fairs taking place in the coming weeks.
The first is at Royden Park Coach House this Sunday (August 25) from 10am-3.30pm. It will be dog friendly, wheelchair accessible. The cafe will be open.
The second is at Hoylake Parade Community Centre on Saturday, August 31 from 10.30am-3.30pm. There will be free parking, the event is dog friendly, wheelchair accessible and cafe on site.
Welsh Society
BIRKENHEAD Welsh Society's meeting programme resumes on Monday, September 9 in the Seion Chapel, Laird Street, Birkenhead starting at 2 pm.

Rock 'n' roll
THE Cheshire Cats rock'n'roll fundraising nights are every Wednesday from 7.30pm-11pm at The Poulton Victoria Club on Poulton Bridge Road Wallasey. On the night, there is dancing to Music from the 1950s, '60s, 70s' and country music from four resident bands plus one guest band every week. All funds raised helps local sick children. Claire House is the main benefactor. Admission £1.50.
Chat and craft
