A FESTIVAL of indie music is set to take place in Birkenhead this weekend.
Birkenhead Live will return to Future Yard on Argyle Street in Birkenhead for a weekend of independent music across two days.
Artists and bands will take to the venue’s indoor and outdoor stages on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11.
Deco, Delights, Fiona Lennon, Honey Motel, King Nun, Megan Wyn, Muddy Elephant, Spinn, The Clause, The Covasettes, The Guest List, The Outcharms, The Manatees and Tom A Smith have all been announced on the line up for Saturday.
On Sunday Dirty Blonde, Lissy Taylor, Sam Scherdel, Stanleys, Swim School, The Clockworks, The Heavy North, The Mercians, The Rills, The Rosadocs, The Silver Lines, The Zangwills and Wull will all be performing.
Organiser Luke Joynes said: “Those who have been to Future Yard in Birkenhead will know how good a venue it is and how important it is to the local community.
“This event is going to be a real celebration of emerging talent in the UK, performing alongside some of the hottest artists coming out of Wirral at the moment."
The event will take place from 3pm-11pm.Individual Saturday and Sunday tickets cost £24.08 and a weekend ticket costs £44.24.
