TWO people from Wirral have been charged with drugs offences following their arrests earlier this week.
Jack Williams, 20, of Harrogate Walk on Birkenhead and Melanie Cross, 42, of Kirkway, Higher Bebington were arrested on Tuesday (June 25) on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and have subsequently been charged with the offence.
Williams was also charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Williams was remanded into custody while Cross was conditionally bailed.
Both appeared in court on Wednesday (June 26) and will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on July 24.
