A 29-year-old Wirral man has been jailed for over three years for Class A drug dealing.
Ethan Kelly, of Oxton Road, Birkenhead, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.
On November 8 2023 officers from the County Lines Taskforce on patrol in Birkenhead detained Kelly on Oliver Street.
He was searched and was found to have a large number of individual wraps of crack cocaine and heroin strapped to his thigh. He was also found in possession of a burner phone and a quantity of cash.
Following a search of his home, cash, digital scales and drugs paraphernalia was recovered.
Kelly appeared at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday (Thursday, June 20) and was jailed for 37 months on each count, to run concurrently.
Detective Inspector Gary Stratton said: “Project Medusa and teams across the force are working day in, day out, to tackle county lines drug dealing and the exploitation of young, vulnerable people in our communities.
“Information from the public is vital to continue to breakdown the organised crime groups who bring misery to our streets, and I would appeal to anyone who has information to come forward.”
