A Wirral post office is to re-open at the same location under new management later this year.
Saughall Bridge Post Office, on Hoylake Road in Moreton will restore its services on Thursday, August 8. The previous branch at this location closed in April 2022 due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
The new opening hours will be: Monday to Sunday: 7am – 10pm. This will provide 105 hours of Post Office service a week. This is an extra 38 hours of service a week than when the branch was previously open including Saturday and Sunday afternoons and later daily closing than before.
Karl Haddon, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: "We are delighted to be restoring Post Office services to Saughall Bridge area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
"I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service."
