WIRRAL train lines will be cancelled due to testing on a new fleet of trains.

To allow further testing and training associated with our new fleet of trains, temporary timetable changes are being made to the West Kirby line from Monday, June 3 and to the New Brighton line from Saturday, June 8.

West Kirby Line

From Monday to Friday some services will be cancelled, these are as follows:

  • West Kirby to Liverpool Central: there will be five trains cancelled (07:21, 08:36, 09:51, 11:06 and 12:21).
  • Moorfields to West Kirby: there will be five trains cancelled (07:51, 09:06, 10:21, 11:36 and 12:51).

New Brighton Line

On Saturdays some services will be cancelled, these are as follows:

  • New Brighton to Liverpool Central: there will be seven trains cancelled (07:08, 08:08, 09:08, 10:08, 11:08, 12:08 and 13:08).
  • Moorfields to New Brighton: there will be seven trains cancelled (07:31, 08:31, 09:31, 10:31, 11:31, 12:31 and 13:31).
