A COUPLE from Ellesmere Port have been shortlisted for a North West wedding award.

Richard and Kerry Jones married during the Covid lockdown in 2021 and with restrictions only allowing for up to 16 guests the couple have only photos to look back on.

Due to not being able to relive their day with a wedding film, Richard decided to use his videography skills to help other couples and together with Kerry set up YourPerfectMemories.

Following its success, the pair have now been shortlisted for the Best Videographer award at this year’s North West Wedding Awards.

Richard told the Globe: "We are honoured to have been nominated for this award - a huge thank you to our wonderful brides and grooms for their nominations.

“At YourPerfectMemories we pride ourselves on providing high-quality wedding films for couples to relive their special day for years to come, something we wish we had to look back on.

“From being there at the bridal prep all the way through to the evening party - we love being able to capture all of the beautiful memories that a wedding day holds.”

The North West Wedding Awards ceremony which is organised by County Brides, takes place on Wednesday, June 12 2024 at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.

Kerry added: "We are really looking forward to the County Bride awards ceremony.

“It is a great chance for us to celebrate the venues, companies and suppliers that make up the North West Wedding industry.

“A huge thank you again to all of our brides and grooms for their nominations."
