MEET our dog of the week Molly, who is looking for a new family and needs your help.

The nine-year-old Pug Cross arrived was brought to Merseyside Dog Trust's rehoming centre after her family began working very long hours. Luckily, she bagged a temporary spot in a foster home but needs a forever home.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Molly may be approaching her senior years now, but it certainly isn't stopping her from living her best life.

"She loves to be out exploring and shows no signs of slowing down, despite a little arthritis in her legs.

"She's very affectionate and loving and is going to make someone a wonderful companion."

According to the trust, Molly's previous owners said she was great at travelling in the car and very calm in the home. She is also said to dislike sharing attention so would rather not have to live with another dog.

Molly can live with cats and children over the age of eight, and she is happy to be left alone for three or four hours, following a nice walk.
