CHEF Paul Askew will be taking over the kitchen at an exclusive Wirral supper club for “one night only” next month.

Located in Claremont Courtyard, adjacent to Claremont Farm, LOST, the former barn turned exclusive dining venue, will welcome Wirral chef Paul and The Art School Restaurant Liverpool team to its kitchens.

Chef Askew’s passion for supporting local food businesses, growers, and emerging talent is the driving force behind this collaboration, as he creates a memorable evening that will delight both loyal patrons and new guests. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the best of The Art School’s fine dining in a new and vibrant setting.

Guests will be treated to five outstanding courses, paired with five expertly selected wines, served, presented, and poured by the Art School’s sommeliers.

On arrival guests will be given a glass of Charles Heidsieck champagne with a selection of Chef’s snacks, amuse bouche served with Art School breads and kombu and oak-smoked milk butter.

Pan-seared Loch Fyne scallop served in the half shell on a bed of creamed leeks with Southport potted shrimps are to start paired with a Valenciso Rioja Blanco.

This will be followed by terrine of chalk stream trout, halibut and tiger prawn with Claremont Farm asparagus and Sauce Bavaroise and Marchese Antinori, Conte della Vipera, Umbria, Italy 2022 magnum.

For the main course, guests can enjoy fillet of Cumbrian Galloway beef with beef fat potatoes, pressed terrine of ox cheek, wild garlic persillade, Sauce Soubise, pickled walnut puree and tarragon jus and Domaine Bouyer, Clos de la Cure, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2020.

Followed by Entremet of Claremont Farm strawberries with white chocolate and basil Podere Castorani, Jarno Passito, Abruzzo, Italy for dessert.

The evening will take place on Thursday, June 6 and 7pm and costs £175 per person which includes welcome drink, snacks and five courses and five wines.
