A youth theatre group in Neston is celebrating a successful year, winning four awards.

InterACT Youth Theatre, offered by Registered Charity Little Actors Theatre, is enjoying a bumper 2024.

The group has delivered several public performances and scooped four accolades.

Commissioned by CW&C, they created a play themed around COVID-19 Reflections.

Performances took place at the COVID memorial in Stanney Fields Park and at Theatre Porto.

They also presented 'The Snow Dragons' by Liverpool playwright Lizzie Nunnery as part of the Leverhulme Drama Festival at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight.

The group received the Richard Woodward Memorial Award for their contribution to community, education, and youth theatre.

Cationa Keelan won the Best Actress Award for the third consecutive year.

Ethan Hunt repeated his previous success, winning the Best Actor award.

At the Cheshire West Voluntary Arts Awards in March, the group took home the Children and Youth Arts award.

Little Actors Theatre has also been nominated for the Neston Community Awards.

The team said they are thrilled with their recognition, particularly for their work with young creatives.

To foster access and inclusion, they offer a 50 per cent discount to low-income families.

The organisation welcomes new members aged 5-18 to join groups led by professional actor/facilitators.

In July, both 'Reflections' and 'The Snow Dragons' plays will be reprised at the Neston Theatre Festival, alongside performances from Little Actors Theatre Club and other creative groups.
