Cock & Tail owner, Lisa Foster, told the Globe: “Misty Blues was known as an old people’s club which was my husband’s bar so we’ve taken it and completely transformed it.

“I’ve always like going over to Liverpool for bottomless brunches and I know a lot of my friends do as well so with the pub business being so quiet recently I thought I’d concentrate on something different and open a cocktail bar.

“I thought it saves everyone going over to Liverpool if they can come to Wallasey and it means people aren’t spending a fortune on bus and taxi fares.”

As well as offering a variety of alcohol, the bottomless brunch offer also includes a meal.

Customers can choose from a variety of breakfasts and burgers and wraps including chicken and beef as well as vegetarian options like halloumi and Quorn chicken.

If cocktails aren’t your thing you can pick from prosecco, gin, vodka and a selection of bottled beer.

Lisa said: “We’ve got for the more traditional option when it comes to food. When we were opening I tried to think about what I like and my daughter and friends like when whenever we go out drinking and tried to incorporate it.

“We’ve been to bottomless brunch places were you only get a burger with your drinks and you have to pay extra for your chips whereas we’re offering a full proper meal with ours.”

The brunch costs £30 per person for a two-hour slot of unlimited cocktails and a meal of your choosing.

Bottomless brunch is available to book on Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 12am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm.

Lisa added: “Everyone who has been has loved it so far. When the weather is warmer we’ll open the beer garden and later down the line we’re going to host themed brunched like ABBA and 60s and 70s.

"I am also planning to put different singers and bands on once a month so it’s going to be really good fun.”
