RYAN Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have reacted to Wrexham AFC's "incredible" end to the League 2 season.

The already-promoted Reds hosted league champions Stockport County at STōK Cae Ras on Saturday.

The Dragons came from behind to win 2-1, with a well-taken goal by Ollie Palmer shortly after the break and an Andy Cannon thunderbolt clinching the win late on.

Following the game, the club's star co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney (who was in attendance) took to their respective social media pages to react to the final day win.

Ryan posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying: "Huge @Wrexham_AFC win and an incredible finish to another season and another promotion. Congrats to league champions, @StockportCounty … we’ll see you next year in League One."

Rob posted: "What a way to end the season! Congratulations to everyone who has a hand in the continued success of @Wrexham_AFC The team, the staff, my co-chairman @VancityReynolds , everyone. This is a win for us all!! Time to celebrate."

The Wrexham AFC players will be once again heading to Las Vegas for a promotion party, before they embark on a pre-season Wrex Coast tour of the US.

The men's team will compete in three matches during the dour - in Santa Barbara against AFC Bournemouth, in Santa Clara against Chelsea FC and in Vancouver against Vancouver White Caps.

Wrexham AFC Men's manager Phil Parkinson said: “Last year’s US Tour was a fantastic experience, and a memorable trip for all the players and staff.

“After another successful campaign, we’re delighted to be heading to the West Coast again this summer, and we’re also looking forward to venturing up to Vancouver and spreading the club’s footprint into Canada."
