A CYCLIST is in hospital with “serious injuries” after colliding with a car in Ellesmere Port.
At 6.05pm on Friday, April 19 police were called to reports of a collision on Bridge Meadow near to the junction with Broadland Road.
The incident involved a silver Ford B-Max and a pedal cycle.
The cyclist, a 60-year-old man, suffered serious injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital.
He remains in hospital at this time.
Officers investigating what happened are now hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
Sergeant Darren Owen said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to get in touch with us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened.
