A POLICE investigation is “ongoing” after a bar and restaurant in Wirral was broken into.
At around 2.15am on on Saturday, April 13 it was reported that a burglary had taken place at the Phoenix Bar & Grill on Rake Lane in Wallasey.
The venue had been broken into and some pipework was taken.
Police attended the scene and made enquiries but no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We are appealing for information following a reported burglary at a premises in Wallasey on Saturday 13 April.
"At around 2.15am, it was reported that Phoenix Bar & Grill had been broken into and some pipework was taken.
"Police attended the scene and made enquiries but at this time no arrests have been made.
"A search of the area was made and no weapons or property were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and if you have any information, you can DM @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting reference number 24000336695."
