A road in Whittle-Le-Woods is set to be closed ‘for some time’ after a crash.
The A6, between Clayton Brook Road and Chorley Old Road, is closed.
Officers say the crash involved a car and a motorbike. It happened at around 4.27pm and minor injuries, to the motorcyclist, were reported.
A police spokesperson said: “We currently have a road closure in place on the A6, between Clayton Brook Road and Chorley Old Road, Whittle Le Woods, due to a road traffic collision.
“Please find alternative routes when travelling, as this is likely to be closed for some time.”
“It is a [crash] involving a car and motorbike, happened at 4.27pm. Looks like minor injuries to the rider.”
