THERE's a chance to try your hand at composting, basic sewing repairs or leftover recipes at workshops taking place on Wirral this month.
Whether you want to learn more about something you are doing already, or learn a completely new skill, these workshops are a chance to get involved in your local community to help your food and clothes go further, save money as well as ease the impact on the environment.
April workshops include:
Sunday, April 14: 'Introduction to Composting' at Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre from 11am to 1pm
Friday, April 19: 'Love your leftovers' at The Sandon Building on Falkland Road in Wallasey, CH44 8ER from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
Thursday, April 25: Stitch and Fix: basic sewing repairs at the Environmental Innovation Centre on Campbeltown Road in Birkenhead from 11am to 1pm.
