POLICE have issued an update after a fight broke out between a gang of youths at a Wirral retail park.

At around 3pm on Monday, April 8, police were called to the Croft Retail Park in Bromborough after reports of a group of youths fighting outside a restaurant.

The group then ran away from the retail park when officers arrived.

A 20-year-old man from Prenton who was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to sell a Class A Drug, affray and theft and a 17-year-old boy from Tranmere who was arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property and affray have been bailed with conditions.

Merseyside Police have said investigations are “ongoing” into the incident.
