AN AWARD-WINNING Wirral burger joint is opening its second restaurant.
Chuck Wagon by Taylors Kitchen was originally opened as a takeaway on Seaview Road in 2020 by David Taylor and his son Adam.
Following its success and, requests from customers, they decided to open a restaurant in 2022 on Liscard Road in Liscard.
The popular restaurant and takeaway is open Wednesday to Sunday and serves American style smashed burgers and hotdogs as well as cowboy combos, salads, a variety of side dishes and desserts.
Now the establishment has announced it will be opening its second restaurant on Borough Road in Prenton.
Owner David Taylor told the Globe: “Chuck Wagon from Liscard, winners of the 2023 Wirral Globe Best Burger Award are pleased to announce that they have acquired a new location at 730 Borough Road to expand its ever-growing takeaway business.
“The owners are delighted to bring their unique menu of fresh local produce, smash burgers, fried chicken, loaded hotdogs and loaded fries, and much more to Prenton and the surrounding areas.
“There is lots to do but we can’t wait to get started on the new unit.
“We expect the work to take around eight weeks to complete so we aim to be open beginning of June”.
