A FORMER member of electronic music legends Kraftwerk has confirmed a gig at Birkenhead's Future Yard venue.
Wolfgang Flur, who was the drummer with Kraftwerk between 1973 and 1986, played on the German band's classic run of albums Autobahn (1974), Trans-Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), and Computer World (1981).
In 1981 they enjoyed a UK number one hit with The Model and have been cited as one of the most influential bands in pop music history.
Flur’s current stage performances as MUSIK SOLDAT (music soldier) involve him showing videos and rare images from his Kraftwerk past shot to his present projects added with selected electro tunes "for dancing".
Support comes from Peter Duggal.
