A CHARITY concert to celebrate International Women's Day is taking place at Future Yard in Birkenhead next month.
All proceeds raised from the event on Saturday, March 9 will go to domestic abuse charity Safenet.org.uk
Acts taking to the stage at venue on Argyle Street will be The Facades, Sky Valley Mistress, The Sewer Cats, Wax-Tree-Cast, Carleigh Mack and Issy Sutcliffe. Tickets are available from https://skiddle.com/e/37272780
Presented by Unheard Indie, doors open at 5pm.
Organiser Richard James Melvin said the event promises a mix of "indie, indie-pop, indie-rock, punk, something for everyone . . ."
He told the Globe: "This gig showcases six extremely exciting female fronted acts from all over the North West.
"It will be a banging gig and all profits will go to the wonderful people at safenet.org.uk, who do such critical work for survivors of domestic abuse."
Safenet.org provides support for victims and survivors of Domestic abuse across the North West. It offers inclusive, non-judgemental and respectful services to women, children and men.
