A WIRRAL theatre group is in rehearsal for its second pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, which will be staged next month.

Theatre4All.nw's performances of Ben Crocker's version of the classic tale will be at Gladstone Village Hall in Burton on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24.

The Burton-based theatre group - whose members are from Cheshire, Wirral and Liverpool - puts on performances in aid of local charities.

The group has grown since it's sell-out performance of Cinderella last year and now has an emerging youth section and new adult cast members.

Musical director Nikki Ruscoe said: "This is our second pantomime at The Gladstone Village Hall in Burton and we are really excited to be performing Sleeping Beauty.

"Our events always support local charities so come and, have fun and enjoy raising funds with us.”

Cast member, Eric Roberts, said: "After the success of Cinderella, our first pantomime, last year I am looking forward to playing the King in Sleeping Beauty with this very talented cast”

The Saturday March 23 performance starts at 7.30pm. The Sunday, March 24 show is at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available by contacting the group secretary on 07969040767 or emailing theatre4all.nw@gmail.com.
