DETECTIVES investigating an attack in Liverpool City Centre in which two people were stabbed have re-issued CCTV footage of men wanted in connection with the incident.
At around 5.30am on Wednesday, December 27, police located a 21-year-old man at the junction of Church Street and Whitechapel with stab wounds to the chest. He was taken to hospital but has since been released.
A further two males self-presented at hospital with injuries and a fourth man was also later identified as having suffered lacerations to his head.
Police believe the injuries were linked to a disturbance involving two groups of males who left the Safe House bar onto Peter Street a short time earlier.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out and to date eight people have been charged in connection with the incident.
As part the investigation, detectives have re-released images of four men who could have information.
Detective Inspector Chris Carlin said: "Although we have charged eight people in connection to this incident, we are still appealing for information to assist our ongoing investigation.
“We are appealing for anyone who recognises these four men to please get in touch because we believe they could have information to help our enquiries.
"Anyone who recognises the men or has any information which could assist the investigation is asked to DM @MerPolCC or contact @Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 230013238331."
