THERE is heavy traffic this morning (Wednesday, February 14) on the A550 Welsh Road near Ellesmere Port following a crash which has partially blocked the carriageway.
The incident, which has occurred near the junction of the A550 and the A540, took place shortly after 9am.
There are currently queues in both direction from the A494 (Shotwick/Birkenhead Turn Off) to the A540 Parkgate Road (Two Mills Traffic Lights).
National Highways are advising motorists of delays of more than 10 minutes.
