MERSEYSIDE Police has confirmed it is dealing with a "serious" road traffic collision in Birkenhead tonight (Sunday, February 4).
Posting on X (formerly Twitter) at around 8pm, the Merseyside Police Contact Centre, wrote: "We are dealing with a Road Traffic Collison on Stanley Road in Birkenhead.
"We have put road closures in place at Stanley Road at the following junctions Beaufort Road, Gautby Road, Station Road and Townsend Street. Please find an alternative route."
