A MAN was arrested in Neston after an incident outside a supermarket involving a hammer.
At 9.38am today (Friday, January 26), police were called to reports of a disturbance outside Sainsbury’s in Brook Street, Neston.
There were reports of a man causing a disturbance, possibly in possession of a hammer.
There are no reports of any injuries.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Officers attended the scene and a 55-year-old man was subsequently arrested nearby on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon".
