A CAR was believed to be set on fire "deliberately" in Ellesmere Port.
At 10.50pm on Thursday, January 25 police were made aware of a car fire on St Andrew Road, Ellesmere Port.
The fire involved a Vauxhall Insignia which was extinguished by firefighters.
One fire engine from Ellesmere Port was in attendance.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the vehicle fire.
Crews were in attendance for around an hour and then handed the incident over to Cheshire Police.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1742458.
