A TWO-CAR crash caused "heavy" traffic on the M53 this morning (Wednesday, January 24).
At around 8.06am National Highways were alerted to a crash between two vehicles on M53 Southbound between J6 and J7.
Traffic feed INRIX confirmed that "traffic was heavier than normal" due to the crash.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "Two cars collided but they were quickly moved to the hard shoulder by our traffic officers".
The traffic has now returned to normal.
