A FORMER construction worker, whose near-death experience changed his life will be offering connection to the spiritual world during his UK tour, which will visit Ellesmere Port.

David Maddock calls himself a "straightforward bloke" who never thought anything about psychic mediumship until the accident that nearly took his life.

Ignoring the calls to put his abilities to the test, he originally sought a career as a road roller driver – until the pull from spirit pushed him onto the stage and into an international career.

He said: "This wasn’t a world I was familiar with but when I started to recover, I realised I could see, hear and feel things other people couldn’t."

Acclaimed by thousands of clients including top celebrities, his sell-out theatre performances are deemed  "breath of fresh air" among many who welcome his down-to-earth approach.

Screenwriter and author, Bob Sanderson, has warned that David, 38, is the "one to watch out for" having become a staunch supporter following many accurate readings.

Bob said: "This man is going to lead the work of psychic mediums across the world. He is authentic, honest and the real deal.

"There is no ‘woo-woo’ or the smoke and mirrors deception that can often cloud the industry. He says it as it is and, from my experience, very accurately."

He will be appearing at the Ellesmere Port Civic Hall on November 27.

West-Bromwich born David, now based in Stretton, near Burton, East Staffordshire, said his success has taken him by surprise as he only ever meant to start out small, building social media platforms and working locally through word of mouth.

He added: "The fact I am heading on a UK tour to sell out venues is daunting but the amazing welcome I get from audiences has been such a rewarding experience.

"I may ask those to come for a confidential chat if they aren’t comfortable receiving messages publicly. I have no intention of making anyone nervous about the experience."
