THREE fire engines tackled a blaze at The Royal British Legion in Birkenhead.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended an incident at The Royal British Legion, Park Road East, Birkenhead, on Sunday January 7 2024.
Crews were alerted at 6.48pm and three fire engines were on the scene at 6.51pm. Crews arrived to find an outbuilding well alight.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters began tackling the fire with two main branch hoses.
"The fire was soon extinguished and an electric fan was used to clear smoke and a hose reel was used to dampen down.
"Crews remained on scene to hot spot and temperature check the scene. At 8.46pm crews left the scene."
