A sliproad on the M53 motorway in Ellesmere Port is closed this morning (Thursday, December 28) following a road traffic collision.
Ellesmere Port firefighters say they are currently at the scene of the incident on the M53 southbound carriageway sliproad at Junction 7.
The road closed is the sliproad on to the motorway, heading in the direction of the National Waterways Museum and Cheshire Oaks.
The incident involves a single vehicle, it has been confirmed.
Motorists are being urged to find an alternative route if possible while the road is closed.
