A WIRRAL library has reopened after it was closed for repair works.
Upton Library based on Ford Road, Upton closed on September 12 for 12 weeks due to required buildings works.
Wirral Council announced on Monday (December 11) that repair works and decorations were complete, and that the library had reopened its doors to its borrowers.
The library will open Monday to Saturday until Christmas before reverting back to its usual hours in the New Year.
Library staff took to social media to thank residents for their patience. The library is hosting a festive coffee morning on Tuesday, December 19 from 10am-12pm which will include music, a Christmas quiz and cake.
A spokesperson from Upton Village Community Group said: “Really pleased to be able to share this news and hoping that as many of our followers as possible will respond to the invitation to drop in for a cup of Coffee on Tuesday 19th December.”
