A MEXICAN restaurant in Wirral are planning a Christmas Day special for anyone who doesn't feel like cooking this year.
The Christmas Day meal at Mexican Bar and Grill in Liscard is being prepared by chef Deepak Khadka.
You will be greeted by a glass of Prosecco and then starters of roasted vegetable soup, prawn cocktail, chicken liver pate or chicken goujons.
Mains include roast beef, roast turkey, pork loin, pan fried seabass, wild mushroom risotto or penne pasta and to finish, desserts include cheesecake, chocolate gateau or a large mince pie.
A recent survey from Bar Magazine reported that one in six people plan on dining out for Christmas Day.
Mexican Bar & Grill’s Deepak Khadka said: "More and more people are dining out for Christmas Day — with a good deal like ours it doesn’t cost much more per person than cooking at home.
"You don’t need to worry about the stress of the supermarkets, the hours of preparation and doing all the dishes — plus everyone gets more choice."
He continued: "We have a great reputation as a fun, family friendly celebration restaurant, so we’re well prepared to make Christmas Day special for all the families who come and visit us.
"Some places can be very expensive on Christmas Day but we’re offering great value here and as ever you can expect the very best quality."
Liscard’s Mexican Bar and Grill have Christmas Day special is £53.95pp or £25.95 per under 12s.
Booking slots are available at the restaurant from 12pm — 2pm or 2.30pm — 4.30pm.
