A PEDESTRIAN was knocked down by a car in Bromborough.
Officers were contacted at 1.35pm following reports that a man had been knocked down by a Vauxhall Astra on Mark Rake in Bromborough.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "The driver of the car stopped and is assisting with enquiries.
"The incident remains ongoing."
North West Ambulance Service said: "The patient was assessed on scene but wasn’t taken to hospital."
