THE body of a 73-year-old man who had been reported missing has been found in a stream in Ellesmere Port.
At around 8.40pm on Monday, December 4, police received reports of a 73-year-old man who had gone missing in the Spinney Drive area of Ellesmere Port.
Officers were deployed and commenced a search of the area.
Sadly, a body was located in a nearby stream, and formal identification confirmed it was the missing man.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "There are no suspicious circumstances.
"His next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
