A WIRRAL nurse is aiming to ‘set the standard’ in aesthetics — in an industry that’s tightening up regulations.

Sarah Howard has a plethora of qualifications and has opened Aesthetics By Sarah in Oxton — offering advanced dermal fillers, advanced anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, PRF, B12 injections and more.

She says the new clinic is focused on quality — only buying from reputable pharmacies and using premium products — whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

Sarah has a Bachelor Of Science Degree, is a qualified nurse and fully qualified in all her treatments. Since she started practising in 2019, she has seen amazing results with her hundreds of happy clients.

Her new clinic in the heart of Oxton Village has already been extremely popular, with many clients "feeling assured" by Sarah’s experience and qualifications.

One client said: "Sarah makes you feel at ease with the whole process talking you through the steps, she’s professional and knowledgeable and gives great advice,

Another said: "Sarah is amazing and professional in what she does. She reassured me and made me feel so comfortable with the treatment I was receiving. I am made up with my results and would not go to anyone else in the business!”

In April last year, The Health & Care Act gave the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care the power to introduce a licensing regime for non-surgical cosmetic procedures in England.

The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that consumers who choose to undergo a non-surgical cosmetic procedure can be confident that the treatment they receive is safe and of a high standard.

Sarah explained: "The aesthetics industry has been under fire more and more following bad practise and unqualified or uninsured practitioners.

"Last year the government brought out new legislation and things will likely get tightened up further as we hear more horror stories.

"I’m looking to raise awareness of that whilst offering the very best quality treatments that are affordable."

Sarah’s new clinic is "thriving" and she is constantly busy during her appointment days/evenings between Thursday and Monday.

Around this, she continues to be a practising nurse for the NHS– something she studied so hard for.

She said: “I have so much demand at the clinic but I love working in healthcare for the NHS. With Aesthetic By Sarah, I’d much rather focus on quality that quantity — working ethically and offering quality treatments to the right people rather than cramming in as many jobs as possible.

"If you’re ready for a treatment give me a call and we can have a free consultation.”
